Dr. Janine Bertolotti ("The Bert") My goal as your child’s teacher is to prepare your child academically and personally for an increasingly technological society. I strongly believe that a strong work ethic coupled with possessing a growth mindset with accompanying consequences are crucial in cultivating successful adults. My role is to establish the conditions necessary for your child’s success. Such conditions include a disciplined, non-distracting, and structured environment in which students are able to enjoy and focus on the process of learning. My expectations are high as are my demands. However, I will not hesitate to provide the support necessary to ensure each child becomes the best version of themselves. In class, I like to extol the virtues of all things Jamaican (particularly our athletes) and The University of Florida.
